snmp bind event [script]
Parameters & Events Description
send event A send event is generated whenever an SNMP message is sent to the network. The send event is only generated once for every message and not for every retransmission of the same message.
recv event A recv event is generated whenever a SNMP message is received from the network.
trap event A trap event is generated whenever an SNMP trap is received which matches the parameters of the session. A inform event is generated whenever an SNMP inform request is received and processed which matches the parameters of the session.
script A script bound to an event is evaluated in the same way as callback scripts. Substitutions of % escape sequences take place as described above and scripts are always evaluated at global level.`

The snmp# bind session command allows you to bind scripts to events generated inside of the SNMP protocol engine.

The event parameter selects the event, which must be one of the events described above.

The optional script parameter specifies the script that is evaluated when the event occurs. An empty string can be used to remove an existing event binding.

The command returns the script bound to the event or an empty string if the script parameter is missing.
