map# find [-type type] [-name name]
Option Description
-type Restricts this list to those items of a given type.
Restrict the list to all those items, where the name or address matches the given name or address pattern.
-tags Matches the tag associated with an item against the pattern contained in the patternList. Matching is done according to the rules defined for the Tcl string match command.
-sort Sorts the output according to a given sort mode. Valid sort modes are mtime and ctime. The sorting order can be specified by setting the -order option to increasing or decreasing.

The map# find command retrieves a list of item handles that match the search options.

If no options are present, a list of all items on the network map is returned.

Increasing sort order is the default.
