Ban the US Mail!
|
|
It is time to ban the US mail. It is being used as a delivery mechanism
for terrorists. It is anonymous and being used by terrorists to send biological weapons.
The terrorists used the Internet to communicate and everyone is rallying for the banning of encryption and anonymity
on-line. Shouldn't the same thing follow suit for the off-line world? Especially when the danger is greater?
Lets not treat the US mail any differently. Let us apply the same concerns to it that we do to e-mail.
For e-mail they want to ban encryption. Because with encryption they cannot see what is in that e-mail. Well,
with the US mail, envelopes stop us from seeing inside. Envelopes are allowing terrorists to hide anthrax inside.
This is far worse than anything that can be hidden in e-mail. Nothing you can hide in e-mail can kill some one.
So if they are going to ban encryption on e-mail because they can't see inside, lets also ban envelopes on regular
mail for the same reasons.
For e-mail they want to ban anonymity. They want a unique ID that will absolutely tie all correspondence back
to the sender. They want an end to on-line anonymity. They say that we need this to stop terrorists. Shouldn't
the same thing apply to regular mail? Anonymity is stopping the authorities from catching the person sending this
anthrax. That means we must ban regular mail anonymity!
We must require a security check for every letter (um
postcard, we can't use envelopes, they are terrorist tools) sent. We must make everyone show a valid US id for
every postcard they send! We must ban anonymous postal boxes. These anonymous remailers are allowing terrorists to send anthrax without fear of getting caught.
There should be no difference over how we treat e-mail vs. how we treat regular mail. Actually, if there is going to be any difference, we should be far
more strict about regular mail because the dangers are greater. So, contact your elected government officials now. Support the ban on the US mail with the same determination with which you support the ban on encryption and on-line anonymity.
Push for a ban on envelopes used on regular mail,
we must only allow post cards! Push for a ban on anonymity with regular mail, we cannot allow anonymous postal boxes to continue!
If the danger of on-line issues is as great as they say, then we should not overlook the far greater threat of
regular mail. Regular mail can kill! Ban it now!
Think the above is ridiculous? Take a closer look at what they are trying to do with e-mail and on-line communication.
It's basically the same thing, with only one difference, regular mail can kill you, e-mail cannot. So if you think that the above is ridiculous, I hope that you also see the other as being equally ridiculous.
Terrorists are far more dangerous and communicate far more anonymously via regular mail than they do via the Internet. Those looking to push these bans and restrictions on Internet communications are using terrorism and the general public's lack of understanding to further a hidden agenda.
Don't follow them like sheep because they cry terrorism. Because if they succeed, someday you may finally understand what it was you gave up and the long term effect it will have on your life, and realizing that you got nothing in return, you'll want it back, but it will be too late.
